PRODUCTION DRAFT · LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED BEFORE PUBLIC LAUNCH

Terms of Service

These draft terms govern access to SY Class, a service that turns user-selected source material into private AI-assisted courses. The operator’s legal identity, governing law, dispute venue, paid-plan terms, and public contact channel must be completed before public release.

1. The service

SY Class can extract supported native-text PDFs, public web pages, and supported online books; generate a course; provide slides, detailed explanations, quizzes, Pencil feedback, and a contextual Tutor; and maintain an account-linked private course library.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information through the supported Google sign-in flow and protect access to your device and account. You may not use the service if applicable law prohibits it. The current self-service service is not intended for users below the applicable digital-consent age.

3. Your sources and responsibilities

You retain rights to material you submit. You confirm that you have permission or another lawful basis to upload, retrieve, transform, and learn from it. You must not use SY Class to bypass authentication, paywalls, robots restrictions, technical controls, or source-site terms. Unsupported or restricted sources may be rejected.

4. Limited processing license

You grant the operator a limited license to host, copy, extract, transform, and transmit submitted content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the requested service. This license ends when associated data is deleted, subject to documented backup-retention and legal obligations.

5. AI output and educational use

AI-generated slides, explanations, quizzes, answers, and feedback may be incomplete or incorrect. Citations improve traceability but do not guarantee accuracy. You must check important claims against the source. SY Class does not provide medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other professional advice.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to violate law or third-party rights; distribute malware; interfere with service security; probe or overload infrastructure without permission; impersonate others; generate abusive or exploitative material; or obtain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or sources.

7. Privacy and data management

The Privacy Policy explains data handling. My Class provides account-data export and permanent account deletion. You are responsible for keeping any exported files secure.

8. Availability and changes

The pre-release service may change, pause, or discontinue. Generation time and source support vary by material and provider availability. Production service levels, support commitments, paid-plan limits, refunds, and advance-notice terms must be defined before any paid public launch.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Access may be suspended for security threats, prohibited use, legal requirements, or material breach. Where practicable and lawful, notice and an opportunity to export data should be provided.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer protections are not excluded. Final warranty disclaimers, liability caps, indemnity language, governing law, and dispute procedures require jurisdiction-specific legal review and are intentionally not fabricated in this draft.

11. Contact and finalization

Human Gate: the operator’s legal name, registered address, support contact, governing law, dispute venue, and any paid commercial terms must be completed and legally reviewed before external production use.
